Welcome to Preston!

Preston is a small, historic mill town located 22 miles east of Seattle.

We are located in a sheltered valley on the Raging River that traditionally served as a way-stop for eastbound traffic over the Cascade Mountains. Preston is nestled amidst protected forests - where things are quieter, urban sprawl is limited and the lights go out early. Just the way we like it.

The Preston Community Club

The Preston Community Club is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to informing, protecting, and uniting our area community. We marshal the resources of our diverse, creative population to cultivate our small town way of life. This isn't the Issaquah plateau and we work hard to make sure it retains the same charm it has had for its 100+ year history.

As a community club, we are involved in organizing entertaining town events, acting as a liaison to local/state governments and preserving the heritage and lifestyle of our wonderful community.
